Climate neutral Malmö 2030

The City of Malmö aims to be a pioneer in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. To achieve Malmö's ambitious climate goals, the Climate Transition Malmö process has been initiated. An innovation team has been established, mobilizing public and private sector, academia, NGOs as well as citizens of Malmö to accelerate the city’s climate transition.

The Climate neutral Malmö 2030 project has been a key support in the establishment of Climate Transition Malmö and the project will continue to contribute to ensuring progress in its implementation.

The project consists of several important elements that will coordinate and support system innovation in Malmö; innovation teams, an agile action plan, climate investment plans, annual revisions of the Climate city contract 2030, collaboration with industry and academia, citizen involvement and digitalization. Together, these efforts will accelerate Malmö's climate transition and contribute to a good life for all citizens within planetary boundaries.
