Innovative design of efficient cooling techniques for PV and cost-effective integrations with low-temperature heating

This project will develop novel cooling techniques to PV modules, hybrid integrations and operating strategies with low temperature heating.

In addition, the Project will develop a whole-system approach and sustainability evaluations to operate such PV integration with standardized engineering guidance among different seasons.

The project is highly interdisciplinary, involves several industry partners and researchers, with broad and deep expertise in heat transfer, thermodynamics, economy and installation techniques.

The outcomes aim to accelerate the sustainable transformation of PV and thermal solution in buildings in Sweden and internationally.
