The goal of this project is to understand the requirements that can be placed on a larger electrical work machine that can perform the work both urban and regional.
The project includes understanding the whole, including charging infrastructure, user perspective and climate benefits in a system perspective. The project wants to strengthen theoretical calculations by testing in a real work environment.
The results will be used by, among others, the Swedish Transport Administration and increase understanding of the possible requirements that can be set to obtain optimal results from fossil and emission freedom in a sustainability perspective.
The results can then be used as a basis for an evidence-based plan for "how government agencies should go about achieving emission-free work machines when procuring contracts where work machines are used." The phase-out inquiry proposes such a plan in its report. The entire value chain is represented in the project, which proves useful results.
