INTERGRATED DATA MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (IDMS) FOR POWER GRIDS/UTILITIES

Integrated Data Management System (IDMS) for power utilities for remote data management, process automation, integration of renewable generation & EV infrastructure and interoperability of multiple utilities in a distribution area.

The project shall develop an IDMS which connects with multiple sensors, IoT devices and meters for real time data collection & management. We shall develop application specific sensors and IoT devices to collect data from critical equipment and locations in the grid. We will also develop analytical tools for audit, risk management, system optimization and automated response/alert generation.

The project will also do a detailed study of consumer behaviour for EV, renewable generation and storage systems and integration of the same by making transformations in infrastructure and operational systems. To ensure interoperable and transparent operations for both new and legacy systems we shall use standard communication and data protocols.
