Pioneering innovation for energy saving is demonstrated at industrial customer

Enairon is the company that develops the world's most efficient compressor, with potential to save 1% of the world's total electricity consumption. The company's business idea is to develop, build and sell these compressors with a vision of halving the world's energy consumption in the production of compressed air. The initial target-market is process- and manufacturing industries.

Enairon's innovation is based on a completely new patented method for compressing air that provides unique properties for high efficiency and low wear. Enairon can reduce the industry's operating costs for air compressors by 30–50%, and at the same time offer a more environmentally friendly product.

If the Swedish Energy Agency approves this project, we will be able to demonstrate the new technology in a pre-commercial system prototype and reach RL7. The project can lead to a major technological leap and set a new standard for compressed air production, which affects the whole world's industries.
