Kon 2021" Concept development of Alveo's innovative wind measurement solution for improved sustainability and profitability of wind energy

Alveo’s innovative concept is a standalone wind measurement (profiling) solution which can be used for wind resource evaluation of prospective wind farms. It has the potential to disrupt the market and define new standards in the wind energy industry due to:

• High data accuracy resulting in improved wind farm efficiency, which leads to increased electricity production and better wind farm economy; • Considerably lower environmental impact; • Faster deployment and dismantling; compared to the existing solutions.

The project objectives are to validate the analytical predictions in small scale tests, to validate the basic functions of a Minimum Viable Product in laboratory, to create the initial numerical models, and to identify suitable patenting strategy as well as to file the first fundamental patent.

Successful implementation of this project will take the technology from TRL 2 to 4 and will prepare the company for initial customer engagement and feedback.
