LASAGNE: digitaL frAmework for SmArt Grid and reNewable Energy

The project aims to contribute to set goals in the call through the development of context-aware and self-adapting energy systems. The project has a socio-technological approach and intends to develop and test the next generation of smart electricity meters as a hub for managing data in distributed energy systems.

The Swedish Energy Agency has assessed that the project has a very good potential to contribute to the development of digital technologies for estimating grid load as well as flexibly distribute the load between producers and consumers. The project is expected to strengthen Sweden's position as a leading actor in the area. The project includes the Swedish efforts in the international research collaboration within ERA-NET SES.

The Swedish Energy Agency assesses that the project meets the objectives of the call by utilizing opportunities with artificial intelligence to contribute to a more flexible energy system.
