Grant Description

The project combine known and well-functioning technologies into an innovative system solution for the exploration, drilling and extraction of deep geothermal energy. The project uses DTH hammers instead of core drilling to open, and close crack for crack, one by one, to a sufficiently large water flow in the rock has been created. The project uses specially developed software for 3D modelling of the bedrock used to be able to prospect for geothermal energy extraction.

The project want to show that deep geothermal energy is possible to extract with profitability even in the Swedish bedrock. The project develops a 3D model of the bedrock, a drilling plan and a plan for how the cracks will be stimulated, and then will we calculate the potential amount of energy and investment needs.

Our customer has a concrete need as the deliveries of the wastewater that has been used as an energy source will cease. The customer i is looking for renewable energy sources.
