Technical consequences of energy efficiency measures in ten detached historic houses from the period 1910-1970 are assessed in this project. The analysis includes life cycle analysis of environmental impact and moisture-related risks.
The overall purpose is to gain in-depth knowledge about the benefits and risks of various energy efficiency measures of detached historic houses in Sweden.
The project is implemented as a complement to the project Energy retrofit of 20th century detached historic houses in Sweden where conservation aspects are in focus.
Taken together, these projects provide a comprehensive holistic assessment of the consequences of energy retrofit of historic detached houses.
The results can be used by both authorities and individual homeowners to make informed decisions about the choice of energy efficiency measures.
