Grant Description

Suppose you have bought a new car and six months later there's a failure. At the workshop you get the message: "We cannot find the fault because the car has no diagnostics system, but a consolation is that even if we found the fault, we cannot repair individual components so you need to scrap the car."

This is happening today in the real estate industry. If you get a moisture leak in a wet room, you cannot find it because there is no diagnostics built in and you can also not partially repair a wet room, so you tear and completely renovate the bathroom instead of partially repairing.

This project will develop the solution to put an end to the waste of resources and help enable resource-efficient repairs. In the defined project, we want to seek support for developing a sensor technology, which when installed, via a web service warns the property owner of a moisture leak in a bathroom or kitchen, immediately when the leak in a bathroom or kitchen, immediately when the leak occurs.
