Surface-emitting large-area lighting panels are emerging as a new generation of lighting solutions.
These panels combine a variety of advantages and user-friendly properties, such as high energy efficiency, soft light nature, as well as the lucrative possibility of integration into flexible lighting modules.
This project aims to develop high-performance white light-emitting diodes (LEDs) based on metal halide perovskites for future surface-emitting large-area lighting panels.
The main objective of this project is to achieve white perovskite LEDs with luminous efficiency over 60 lm/W and CRI over 90, with joint efforts between academia and industry.
As such, we are in an excellent position to ensure that the results are translated into new research as well as commercialization.
The results will significantly advance the state-of-the-art perovskite LEDs in the short term, and contribute to Swedish pioneering position in the next-generation lighting technology in the long term.
