The need for new and complementary sources of supply is growing all the time. Simplifying the possibility of going from small-scale biogas to electricity is one possible solution. In the larger perspective, to be able to increase the supply of CO2 neutral biogas for electricity into the electricity grid and enable small-scale biogas plants to contribute as grid stabilizers when the need arises.

Our project will take steps TRL 2 to 5 for a product that can control the electrical output of individual smaller electricity generation facilities against the current hourly spot price. The purpose is to generate maximum profit for the facility owner and to create maximum grid benefit for the electricity grid owner. The final product shall consist of a centralised unit for the reception and processing of future daily spot prices via API; as well as outsourced grid-connected units for direct control of the electricity generation facilities.
