FLEXT - Extendable Prefabricated Battens, Proof of Concept

FLEXT is a prefabricated building system for battens for both roofs and exterior walls. Simple, inelastic strips of recycled polyester connect the supporting batten in the direction of the roof slope and the subbatten has been replaced by spacer blocks made of recycled rubber from used car tires

To take FLEXT to the next level and out on the market, a Proof-of-Concept is required where we can ensure all expectations for market and customer value with our innovation.

The project will primarily involve the development of spacer blocks ("Ströpuckar") and connecting bands to understand how these components affect the service life and the manual work during the final assembly.

In the project, FLEXT prototypes will be produced to satisfy the work of mounting FLEXT on roofs of different types and designs in order to obtain as broad a market verification as possible.
