Hymeth believe that the next big thing as we shift to a low-carbon future will be hydrogen.
While hydrogen can be produced cleanly from renewable electricity through electrolyzers, the hydrogen we use today largely originates from an unsustainable technology which itself consumes fossil fuels.
To answer this challenge, Hymeth has developed Hyaeon, a patent pending, low temperature, high pressure, precious metal-free and compact water electrolyzer that produces green and sustainable hydrogen at a lower cost than current technologies.
In our project our electrolyzer will be tested by a customer that will store solar energy in hydrogen by using an electrolyzer.
Hymeth want this project to act as a pilot and demonstrate how renewable energy sources can be utilized more efficiently and how to scale up the pilot to create resilience within Swedish industry and energy distribution. By applying the results Hymeth want to foster decarbonization and work towards a sustainable industry in Sweden.
