With over 30-years of combined experience in the industry, we know that ventilation devices in homes take a long time to adjust, which means large costs. In addition, it is difficult to meet the requirements for air exchange and to achieve a well-balanced ventilation system. An automated adjustment could help reduce costs, calendar time and complexity for adjustment as well as quality-assured indoor environment and minimize energy costs, both in new constructions and in existing systems.
In this project, the potential for energy saving will be investigated by establishing cooperation with new partners, performing tests jointly and further developing the business model with regard to this. The basic functionality of Devair's solution has been validated before, but the project enables an investigation of the long-term effects of an optimally adjusted ventilation system and how the product can maximize its contribution to more energy-efficient buildings.
