The project's goal is to develop and theoretically test different business models for the activation of flexibility resources and demand response.
It is carried out in close cooperation between academia, industry and the public sector, which means that the development takes both commercial and technical conditions as well as the needs and preferences of various key players into account.
The development includes market-based purchase of grid capacity and subscription limitation on local flexibility markets, bilateral agreements and grid tariffs as well as any concept ideas regarding innovative business models that may arise in the course of the project.
The aim is also to increase knowledge about the approach of different actors to the capacity shortage in the grids, the drivers and barriers of flexibility providers and aggregators to be part of the solution, as well as the expedient design of flexibility markets and business models for increased flexibility at the demand side.
