Vidde - Circular business concept for electric snowmobiles

Vidde develops business and environmentally sustainable transport solutions for arctic terrain. The project will contribute to accelerating the transition of the snowmobile sector, which today is estimated to sell 135,000 new, short-lived, and fossil-fueled snowmobiles globally and accounts for 7% of total local emissions in Norrland. The project will lead to important outcomes that can both be used by company and serve as inspiration for other start-up companies with similar challenges; creating circular solutions that take into account resource flows through long-lasting and circular design from the outset.

The project is a continuation of a previous project in which five areas for further development were identified: - Circular design and offering development - Ensuring the connection between business model/profitability and product design - Business economic aspects in the business ecosystem - Challenges in financing for a circular start-up
