Today, the development of energy technologies is often technology-driven and sometimes associated with resistance. The challenges of solar energy are complex and include social sustainability, placement and design.
By working with the designprocess, starting from human behaviors and experiences in relation to sunlight in everyday life, we aim to create at least two prototypes with organic solar cells integrated into everyday objects.
We aim to illustrate how a value-driven process can influence the design of the future's energy system and inspire to an inclusive dialogue in society about future solar energy at an early stage in technology development.
In particular, we would like to create awareness about solar energy in groups that are not so engaged in development today. The prototypes and the process will be exhibited at Vandalorum's art gallery. The project will also be made public at the Röhsska museum and added to the museum's method bank.
