The project intends to build an unit that will show the potential in an industrial application with a high temp heat pump with a COP of 3-10. This corresponds to an efficiency of 300%-1000% compared to electrical heating. Heat pumps are a well-known heating technology for private residences, it is now time to further develop the technology to the industry.
The customers will experience significant energy savings and the electrical highspeed motor will facilitate major reduction in CO2 emissions. IEA (International Energy Agency have repeatedly claimed that High temp heat pumps will play a crucial role in the reduction in CO2 emissions cost efficiently.
