Future Sustainable Optimization: Reach and Engage End Users

The project is a collaboration between Emulate Energy (creators of the innovation), Nordic Behaviour Group (experts in behavioural change), and the clients Bixia (power trading company) and Skellefteå Kraft (energy company).

The aim is to identify and test strategies that increase Bixia's and Skellefteå Kraft's end-customers' use of the technological innovation Emulate offers. The innovation allows end-users to control their electricity consumption, reducing grid load, which assists those responsible for balance in forecasting how energy use shifts over time, a need arising with increased electrification and more optimization services.
