LocalLife has built Envac's digital infrastructure on top of their physical infrastructure. The results have been increased sorting rates, increased customer satisfaction, increased availability in the waste suction system that is run with large fans. Just in the Stockholm region, these fans have an installed capacity of 22 MW.
All of Envac's customers now demand solutions that reduce energy usage and lower operating costs. And Envac's customers, who represent municipalities that aim to be climate neutral, demand ways to make residual waste fossil- free. WasteNoEnergy is the development of a new service with two benefits for the energy system:
1: Energy and power optimization of the terminal through granular data at household level, which allows the waste suction system to be emptied much smarter according to need rather than, for example, a schedule. 2: Reducing the amount of plastics in general waste by half.
