Sweden is undergoing a historic and necessary transformation where the goal is climate neutrality by 2045 while at the same time maintaining and developing a sustainable society. Meeting the climate changes has so far mostly been about changing the use of energy in the transport and energy sectors, but new material concepts are also an important part of a fossil-free and circular future where material performance and resource efficiency go hand in hand with solutions that contribute to the goal of fossil-free society and using resources within the planet's boundaries.
The purpose of the project is to verify, together with the customer, the potential to develop and manufacture sustainable advanced composite materials based on fiber material. A material concepts that offer a bio-based and circular complement to today's carbon and glass fiber composites and which open up completely new possibilities when it comes to functionality, climate benefit and recycling.
