This project aims to assess and utilize the thermal energy storage potential and flexibility within district heating systems and buildings, with the goal of creating cost-effective energy systems.
Through smart control and adaptation to energy prices and demand, renewable energy can be efficiently used for heating and cooling. The project will involve testing on three case studies and synthetic studies based on real-time measurements.
