In the energy systems of the future, it is expected that there will be both prosumers and energy communities that collect detailed information about their consumption and production. This project will investigate how this information can be used for more efficient energy planning and operation.
The project applies a human-centered, multidisciplinary approach to generate insights into how technical, psychological, and legal frameworks influence public support and willingness to participate in future energy systems.
The project will also identify and use energy profiles from different sources to support the planning of energy communities and prosumers.
Based on market-based optimization algorithms, customized solutions are formulated to create, structure and optimize complex prosumer installations and energy communities.
The models must then be tested and validated within five international test beds and the laboratories, including a test facility with 140 kWh grid-connected battery capacity.
