The property industry in Sweden accounts for 21% of Sweden's total CO2 emissions, but if the developer makes energy-efficient choices of construction and energy systems in the early planning of the construction project, properties can become climate neutral during their lifetime. But today it is expensive and time-consuming to produce a reliable decision-making basis in the form of simulation of the climate impact from both the building's construction stage and energy consumption at the right stage, depending on the choice of construction and energy system.
The company will develop and verify functionality in an early version of the Nodon web application, to be able to simulate the climate impact from properties' energy consumption and the effects of various energy efficiency measures, both in the choice of construction and energy system. The functionality will be introduced to the market to facilitate energy-efficient choices in the development and remodeling of properties
