Development and performance evaluation of an alkaline electrolyzer demo system

This project will develop an alkaline electrolyzer demo system based on a novel and patented electrode technology.

The main objectives are to retrofit our electrode into a commercial alkaline electrolyzer and validate that it can operate efficiently under working conditions typically employed in state-of-the-art systems.

The project plan to thoroughly evaluate its performance based on efficiency and lifetime, allowing to acquire important operational metrics.

The data obtained from these studies will be used to carry out a life-cycle analysis of the system and estimate its potential climate impact.
