Development of an analytical tool for more effective operations of district heating centrals from different pricing models and facility data

The project is about the development, verification and business planning for an analysis tool for district heating pricing using the local pricing model and actual end use profile of district heating central for an end customer.

This in order to compare the properties' heat usage profiles from a cost-benefit perspective, as well as to make calculations for investments in energy efficiency. Also, district heating companies can benefit from the analysis tool to formulate cost reflective pricing models.

The analysis tool will therefore also contribute to improved resource utilization in district heating networks as well as general knowledge about district heating pricing among a large group of market players.
