Solar energy is today the fastest growing form of electricity production globally, and thus essential in the transition to a renewable energy system. The majority of energy from solar panels will in the future, on a global level, be produced in solar parks.
Vaja develops innovative solutions for solar parks where the solar panels are mounted so they can sway in the wind at strong winds. This reduces the wind and snow loads to which the system is maximally exposed, which enables a much lighter mounting system compared to today's solutions. It makes it possible to build solar parks with significantly higher electricity production at the same investment cost.
The project aims to take Vaja's first envisioned product "Vaja Track" from TRL4 to TRL7 and, in collaboration with potential customers, verify Vaja Track's functionality, viability, cost and market introduction plan.
