The project intends to develop and test a model to optimize the possibility of creating sustainable, climate-friendly travel habits. Within the framework of the project, the ambition is to test the model, together with the mobility services Resvana and CommuteSaver, on 500 people within Region Gotland.
The project will validate the model, plan for commercialization and provide actual effects on everyday travel during the project period. The goal is to reduce car use by 10%, which in turn leads to an annual reduction in emissions of 42.7 tonnes of CO2 (340 MWh) in total for the test group.
The potential for a 10% reduction for the entire Region of Gotland's staff would mean an annual reduction of 3.84 GWh (480 tonnes CO2) and for the entire workforce on Gotland 14 GWh (1700 tonnes CO2).
